The Hangover 2: News and Review

The HangOver 2“I’m never drinking again!” is certainly not something the makers of The Hangover considered given the success of the first outing.

Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and co return in this summer’s smash hit sequel. The first instalment did enough to warrant audiences begging for a bit of hair of the dog to see them through, and fan feedback shows the film doesn’t disappoint.

The Hangover 2 sees Ed Helms’ character engaged and set to wed in Thailand. A subdued pre-wedding brunch is organised in order to avoid a recurrence of Doug’s bachelor party. All, however, does not go to plan, as they lose Doug’s soon-to-be brother-in-law.

The film has even courted a bit of controversy and legal dispute surrounding the use of the trademark Mike Tyson facial tattoo. The tattoo artist that created the design has claimed copyright infringement, and has recently agreed a settlement with the filmmakers in order to allow the image to be kept in the film.

The Hangover 2, has many of the same plot drivers as the first, but is no less funny with all the characters in fine form.

The Hangover 2 is on general release from 26th of May, featuring in all Event Cinemas where American Express credit card holders can benefit from an exclusive deal with 6 Gold Class movies vouchers by applying through the Amex Edge card site directly. Well worth the hangover.
