Paris Hilton was released this morning in Las Vegas, Nevada, after being arrested late at night on charges of possession of cocaine, police said Saturday.
The hotel heiress was on a black Cadillac Escalade when she was arrested in front of the Wynn hotel about 11:30 pm, after police detected the odor of marijuana coming from the car, Lt. Wayne Holman told CNN.
The driver, whom police did not identify, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, he said.
Paris Hilton was taken to the police station in Clark County. She was released after authorities determined he was not a risk.
